New Jersey is a small state but it is home to some of the coolest music venues out there! With a variety of genres, these venues have supported and showcased the work of several artists, most of which you’ve heard of, and others you’ll be surprised to hear!
The Saint, located at the heart of Asbury Park, has presented regional, national and international artists since November 1994. The venue is intimate and offers 2-3 acts a night. National acts that have performed in the past include Incubus, Creed and even Hoobastank. But what’s really worth noting are the local acts this venue often hosts.
White Eagle Hall is another venue but it doesn’t just offer good times and amazing live music. White Eagle Hall is a newly renovated theatre, presenting different live works of art, ranging from comedy to dance, film to music! While you’re enjoying the show, you also have access to food and drinks. Roughly 8,000 square feet, with a capacity of 800 standing, 400 seating, and 250 dining, this hall is also ideal for wedding receptions, private parties and corporate events.
Starland Ballroom is the place to be for big-time artists. Hosting not only Justin Timberlake and the Jonas Brothers, Starland Ballroom has also hosted some of the greats including Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. After being forced to close October 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy, this venue had the opportunity to completely revamp their aesthetic and interior, and since its grand reopening in September 2013 the party has been non-stop!
